Joe Biden let slip today that he might not have run for re-election this time around but for Trump being in the race.

Makes sense to me.

Who could we rely on to beat Trump?

• Kamala Harris?
• Pete Buttigieg?
• Bernie Sanders?

Despite what the Bernie Bros say, there wasn’t anybody else who would have beaten Trump in 2020. Joe was the one.

And now, in 2024, I’m not sure there is anyone else who can beat Trump either. Joe is the one.

It’s funny, because I was kind of hoping that Joe would declare at the outset of his presidency that he was only running for one term. If Barack Obama were still waiting in the wings, maybe that would have worked.

But he’s not.

And it won’t.

Joe is the one. Praying that he beats Trump again.
