Well, I just got about a half dozen emails telling me that Hillary Clinton just announced her run for the Presidency (see sample below).
That was suspenseful. (Not!)
Hillary is just about the most qualified person ever to run for President who is not an incumbent, but for reasons articulated previously, I hope a few other qualified Democrats get into the race. And not Elizabeth Warren. Well, and now . . . let the circus begin!

Hillary Clinton just announced that she is officially running for president in 2016, and we are so excited to welcome her to the race.
Even though this is just the beginning of the next race for the White House, it’s a crucial period to spread the word on why our 45th president should be a Democrat — and start helping Americans get to know the GOP candidates. This election cycle is shaping up to be an interesting one, and that means that all of us Democrats need to stick together and keep our eye on the prize: Continuing to fight for the middle class, for education, for cleaner air and water, and a stronger economy — and protecting the progress we’ve already made. We’ll keep you updated as this race begins to take shape. But right now, say you’re in for 2016: http://my.democrats.org/Hillary P.S. — We can’t win the White House three times in a row without your help.
