Like many of the rest of you, I’m a little bit panicked by Biden’s debate performance, in which he looked old and feeble. As one commentator put it:

That was a rather unfortunate performance.
But, before we all take a long leap off a tall building, there are a few things to remember:
- This is still a long time before the election
- Obama bombed in his first debate against Rommey back in 2012
- About 95% of what Trump said was an outright lie
- Most of us have already made up or minds, and the debate won’t impact that at all
What the Democrats should do now is some hard-hitting ads in which they take things that Trump said at the debate and line it up right next to Trump (or one of his surrogates) saying the exact opposite.
It shouldn’t be that hard to prove that Trump is a congenital liar, that nothing he says can be trusted in any way.
And Democrats have to hammer two things that have been discussed way too little: (1) Republican attempts to take away contraception and IVF and (2) the Supreme Court.
Joe Biden still has time to right the ship, but he had better get about doing it. But there had better not be an other debate performance like this one.
