The other day Donald Trump opined that Jews who vote Democratic “hate their religion” and “hate Israel.”

Then, when the blowback hit, it was reported in the media that Trump “doubled down.”

I just wanted to let the media know that they don’t need to report that Trump doubled down.

That’s the only thing he ever does.

Trump never corrects himself.

Trump never amends himself.

Trump never thinks that he’s made a mistake.

Everything Trump has ever said is “perfect,” if he says so himself.

It’s almost comical — no, it actually is comical — how Trump can be depended to double down on every foolish thing he has ever said.

Oh, once in a while he claims that he was joking.

That is his only other move.

Double down or claim he was joking.

Doesn’t this guy have anything else in his bag of tricks?
