You wouldn’t think that you’d actually have to tell people this, but apparently the Center for Disease Control had to put out a warning for people not to kiss their chickens.
This obviously isn’t a problem on an industrial farm. But it turns out that more people than you would think like to raise chickens in their backyards — or occasionally in the family room — and that it’s led to outbreaks of salmonella.
